Ulcer medications - proton pump inhibitors
Proton pump inhibitors include:
- Lansoprazole (Prevacid, Prevacid OTC, Prevacid SoluTab)
- Pantoprazole (Protonix)
- Rabeprazole (Aciphex)
- Esomeprazole (Nexium)
- Omeprazole (Prilosec, Prilosec OTC, Zegerid Original Formulation)
- Dexlansoprazole (Dexilant)
Proton pump inhibitors may sometimes be combined with sodium bicarbonate. Such combination includes:
- Omeprazole/ sodium bicarbonate (Zegerid and Zegerid OTC)
